Lin Shih-Chieh is an artist and experimental-image maker based in Taipei. He holds an MFA in Film/Video from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).
His work moves between personal memory, dream, landscape and history — placing reality beside myth, folklore beside fiction — to project a parallel world built on collective consciousness.
In 2015 he received Best Experimental Film and Best Music Design at the Golden Harvest Awards for A Short History of Decay; in 2017 he was in residence at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris, developing Dreamland.
